"It examined my body as an ironic embodiment in the study of theological scriptures and abstracted rituals, based on the Dead Sea Scrolls.

'I individually tailors objects in an absurdist form.

I become into my own monstrous being,

contradicting the body proper withing

the assemblage of disguise.'

"I made it in 1994 as my first contemporary dance work at Dancehouse. I went onto touring it to the Adelaide SALA festival and  invited to re-stage it at the 20th Anniversary Season of Choreographers at Dancehouse in 2012."

"I was interested in subjectivity and the stripping down of self and the idea of something unearthed and open for re-interpretation where ancient  ideologies of, 'how to behave' still affect our contemporary lifestyle."
